Beijing's Jingping speaks at shindig for departing students

Master of HRM student Jingping Zhang reflected on her life in Rockhampton during an address for participants in this week's Going Home Celebration.

Jingping was among international students returning to eight different countries. She reflected on the range of lifestyle opportunities available in a relatively small city.

"Trust me ... here is the best place for study because CQUni provides a beneficial study environment ... and facilities are always available," she said.

"I made a lot of friends. Although we come from different nations and cultures and act with different manners, we open the boundaries here and use the same language to study together.

"I will never forget that afternoon I was at a football match with kangaroos in the campus... feeling so close to nature."
