Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Twenty-three nations represented at Brisbane graduation 

A total of 107 graduates from 23 nations will celebrate during CQUniversity's Brisbane graduation, from 2pm on Friday December 11 at the Sebel and Citigate Hotel's Presidential Ballroom (King George Square).

The ceremony caters for students from CQUniversity Brisbane and CQUniversity Gold Coast.

Chancellor Rennie Fritschy and Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Scott Bowman will officiate and Bachelor of Business (Management) student Hannah Pepson will deliver the response on behalf of the graduates.
