Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

30 nationalities represented at Sydney graduation 

A total of 229 graduates representing 30 nationalities attended their CQUniversity graduation at Sydney's Star City Grand Harbour Ballroom, on Wednesday September 2.

Guest speaker Warren Reed drew on his extensive experience in international affairs to inspire the cohort.

The State Director Leadership Awards were presented to Tendayi Makwehe and Charlene Gilda Stephanie Fock Dick Wing. Tendayi Makwehe delivered the Closing Address on Behalf of the Graduates.
