CQUniversity is holding auditions for its Bachelor of Music (Specialisation) and Bachelor of Theatre (Specialisation) degrees in Mackay and Rockhampton.

The Bachelor of Theatre program will debut in Mackay in 2009 in the campus' iconic theatre facilities.

In addition to the University's already established and exemplary training in Musical Theatre, new specialisations in Drama (Actor's Craft) and Dance (Contemporary and Classical) will also be available.

The new program offers substantial cross-disciplinary performance opportunities with 6 stage productions a year and is unique for its use of new performance technologies.

The Bachelor of Music program offers specialisations in Jazz and Popular Performance and Creative Music Technologies.  These two specialisations provide innovative opportunities in contemporary music-making.

From 2009 the Bachelor of Music program will be offered at the Rockhampton campus.
