Bruce will talk about his musical journey and will give advice to students about how to shape their own careers in the music, performing arts and musical theatre industry. He may even perform a couple of his songs.

Speaking on the Rockhampton campus today, Bruce said he was impressed by the excitement and skill displayed by the CQUniversity students at a rehearsal he had the pleasure of taking part in.

The students were also grateful for Bruce's insight into the world of performance and the advice of "adding ourselves to the performance".

"Bruce gave us some ideas about how to make a performance our own."
