Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Book bargains a 'novelty' for Open Day on Saturday 

CQUniversity Mackay Library Society's annual Mammoth Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, as part of Open Day on campus.

Operating from 9am-3pm, this event promises to be a treasure trove for bargain hunters, including a wide range of books and music. Many items are in excellent condition and all will be sold at good prices.

All proceeds of this volunteer-operated event are donated to the CQUniversity Mackay Campus Library for purchase of resources not covered by usual funding.
