CQU's Faculty of Business & Informatics was well represented by Associate Professor Lee Di Milia, Professor John Rolfe and Associate Professor Sharon Kemp as they gave seminars outlining their research topics at the Educate & Inspire Centre during the inaugural Queensland Resources Expo held at the Rockhampton Show Grounds last week.
Speaking on their areas of interest with regard to Queensland's resources, their contribution to the Educate and Inspire Centre's seminar and workshop program polished off a day of diverse topics concerning the benefits, effects and promise of the resources boom in central Queensland.

Oliver Skrzypczynski thought jokingly that he might need a fire extinguisher at some stage during CQU performing arts students' Friday night (June 1) performance of 'Studio Sessions', especially when Meegan Fox (red top) and Arelene Gordon were involved.Rockhampton audiences were treated to 3 premiere works, presented by Performing Arts students and (in the case of 2) choreographed by visiting industry professionals.

A group of 20 Cathedral College Business Communication and Technology students got some hands-on experience using the Zing Thing technology system at CQU today.
The Zing Thing is a tool used in schools and in business to encourage collaboration and brainstorming.
