- 'Fear and control' factors in rising Caesarean rates

Recent research examining the birth decision-making for women who have had a prior Caesarean indicates that factors other than purely clinical considerations are driving the increase in the rates of Caesareans.
The studies were by the International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research (IPP-SHR), based at CQUniversity.

Mackay audiences will once again hear the magnificent sounds of the Stuart and Sons grand piano as Judith Brown kicks off the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) 2009 concert series with Judith, Stuart and Friends, from 6pm on Wednesday, March 11.

CQUniversity graduate Alison Comollatti has reached a milestone in her study and career journey, graduating with a Bachelor of Learning Management (Early Childhood) degree this week.
The Rockhampton single mum attributes a lot of her efforts to inspiration provided by her daughter Hannah, who has down syndrome.
