Arts project managers are invited to submit applications for funding for projects in 2008 that satisfy the conditions for funding from Central Queensland University's Regional Centre of the Arts (RCoTA).
RCoTA encourages the development of all forms of the Arts in Central Queensland.

Central Queensland University (CQU) Mackay Health academics will host a ‘Meet and Greet' evening on Wednesday February 20 for professionals interested in discussing research projects in health, allied health and psycho-social areas.
Lecturer in Nursing, Pam Savage and her colleagues have seen interest from a variety of health professional groups in the region to take on research projects.

With clean-up underway in Emerald, recovery centres opened throughout Central Queensland and the Fitzroy River at Rockhampton expecting to peak within the next 24 hours, Central Queensland University (CQU) announced that it would donate $10,000 to the Premier of Queensland's Disaster Relief Appeal to assist community members affected by the Queensland floods.
"The floods here have caused widespread damage in our communities across Central Queensland.

Nursing lecturer Kerry Reid-Searl is CQU's Teacher of the Year for 2007, although she has been passing on her contagious love of learning for many years.
And given the number of different roles she plays, Kerry could have won the award several times over.
