Congratulations to CQUniversity researcher Dr Ashley Bunce who has been recognised this week (Sept 1) with a Natural Resource Management Mentor Award.
The award was among those announced during the Burnett Mary Regional Group's NRM Awards evening held in Bundaberg, to coincide with the Burnett Mary Partnership Showcase.

Australian technology consultancy firm UsabilityOne has appointed well-known industry figure Dr Andrew Stapleton as its research manager.
Andrew, a graduate of CQUniversity's Graduate Diploma in Sciences Communication degree, hopes to make technology products such as websites, mobile phones and games more user friendly.

CQUniversity engineering graduate and Proserpine resident Christopher Porter has been awarded the 2008 RACQ Prize in Transport Engineering.
The prize is awarded annually to the Bachelor of Engineering student with the most outstanding project work in the transport field.

Over 200 students have celebrated National Science Week at CQUniversity Mackay (last Wednesday) by taking part in activities proving science is not for the faint-hearted.
They were drawn from as far away as Middlemount and Proserpine.
