CQUniversity graduates heard from leaders in ICT, finance and careers guidance during ceremonies at the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne this week.
In a significant 'dual sector' milestone, the Melbourne ceremony included 13 graduates from the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing provided by HealthTrain, which is now part of CQUniversity.

Professor Bronwyn Fredericks, CQUniversity's Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) and BMA Chair in Indigenous Engagement was invited to speak at the recent Transforming Indigenous Education Conference.
The conference held at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi: Indigenous-University, New Zealand sought to stimulate discussion and debate around 'what is transforming for Indigenous people?' and 'how can we can transform education for Indigenous peoples?'.

A Central Queensland project is focused on restoring seagrasses and challenging the concept that seagrass restoration is impractical in Queensland.
Loss of seagrasses affects many animals including fish, turtles, dugongs and crab populations, which are important for our coastal ecosystems and recreational values.

Fun science experiments and activities sparked the inquisitive minds of upper primary pupils, thanks to 'ScienceSpark' events held recently on CQUniversity campuses at Gladstone (Nov 27-28) and Rockhampton (Dec 11-12).
Around 100 participants attended each day of the Gladstone event, with as many as 150 each day at Rockhampton.
