- Uni seeks remedy for reduced network capacity to Bundaberg

CQUniversity is experiencing disruption of its communications links to and from CQUniversity Bundaberg, largely due to external factors (beyond the University's control) that are limiting network capacity on the University's microwave connection to Rockhampton.
Whilst the University investigates and addresses that issue, it is working separately with Telstra to increase the University's capacity on its back-up fibre link to Bundaberg, which should increase capacity and ensure stability to operations.

Formidable, Mackay's very own operatic boy-band will be giving its first full-length concert at the end of May.
The creation of Kim Kirkman (ex The Ten Tenors), Formidable is made up of students, graduates and staff of CQUniversity.
