Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG took care to point out he was the only product of the public school system when he served on the High Court* of Australia - the rest were from private schools. He drew this example as a way of praising CQUniversity for introducing an online Bachelor of Laws which will encourage a wider diversity of students into the profession.

Michelle Dann and her classmates have been involved in one of their 'most integrated' projects yet - the chance to develop from scratch some new marketing and communication tools for CQUniversity's Widening Participation campaign.
Not only have students from a range of campuses - and their flex student counterparts - been working together on a new logo, brochure, newsletter and calendar, they have also had the chance to get feedback on early designs.

A total of 130 graduates attended CQUniversity's ceremony at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Tuesday, May 10.

CQUniversity's new Medical Sonography course is the first accredited program of its kind in Australia. It lets applicants study sonography without having first taken another degree.

All are welcome to the free launch of Postdigital: Film Photography Now, an exhibition of images by CQUniversity multimedia lecturer Brendan Murphy.
This will be the first of a series of visual arts exhibitions scheduled for the foyer of the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music Theatre on Mackay Campus.

Many people have made or are making important contributions to the growth and success of CQUniversity and the University recently had the chance to honour and thank them in Mackay, with the local launch of the CQCircle program.
Guests were invited to the Glorious Piano Classical Concert hosted by Judith Brown, senior staff and students of Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, followed by a private audience with Judith and then dinner.
