Since starting his degree, Michael has performed widely across the region, from Hamilton Island to Rockhampton's riverside, including a Burlesque Ball, a Food and Wine Festival and at hotel shows.

In addition to his student band gigs, he performs with an acoustic duo and a rock band at hotels and restaurants around the Rockhampton region.

Meanwhile, he looks forward to learning from his industry mentor Kristin Berardi, one of Australia's leading jazz singers, who visits to work with Rockhampton students.

* The concert is supported by ABC Radio Capricornia.
