... Kamran was asked about the practical training he received while studying for his MIT at the Sydney Campus.
"The most important thing I learned at CQUniversity was documentation and researching techniques," he says.
"During my E-Commerce project with Dr Ergun Gide, I learned how to conduct a comprehensive technical research, WIS development, and writing documentation including addressing issues and solutions."
In June 2008, Kamran had further success in the IT labour market. He joined a bigger employer - this time as an analyst and developer with the energy retail company EnergyAustralia, which employs more than 6000 staff.
Kamran is chiefly responsible for analysing and improving the different types of computer applications used by EnergyAustralia and supports its senior management team with documented information.
As an employee of a big company, Kamran has access to in-house training and employee development programs. He has been quick to take advantage of these job training opportunities and the company's commitment to investing in the technical skills of its employees.
With access to continuing training resources he has been able to upgrade his knowledge and project management skills. This has enabled Kamran to ‘keep in touch with new technologies' and develop a competitive employment edge in a very dynamic industry.
He recalls his days of learning and studying at CQUniversity Sydney were "full of challenges, joy and happiness".
The hard work and dedication he devoted to his studies did not go unacknowledged. In his final semester of study for his MIT, Kamran became the proud recipient of the Dean's Letter of Commendation.
