Lecturers Sue Davis and Kathy Bauer helped organise the team conducting lead-up workshops for children, across 2 Saturdays.

CQUniversity's International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research (IPP-SHR) has announced the appointment of Dr Sue Rice in the position of Adjunct Research Fellow.
Dr Rice will head up IPP-SHR's Australian-Indian Psycho-Social research program with the Regional Cancer Care Centre (RCCC), Trivandrum, India.

Final-year engineering students gathered at CQUniversity's Rockhampton Campus last Friday (June 19) to demonstrate the regional relevance of their major projects.
The annual GECon (graduating engineers conference) covered topics as diverse as scaffold safety, water supply infrastructure, coal mine electricity system protection, flood mitigation, highway design, biofuels and level crossing control.

CQUniversity has reached a preferred position - following 10 months' rigorous evaluation and consultation with staff and staff representatives - that printing, custom distribution and inventory control of Learning and Teaching material will be more effectively, efficiently and economically served by an external supplier or suppliers.
CQUniversity is expected to shortly enter into discussions with potential supplier(s) of service to develop a formal agreement.

Around 200 graduates and former and current staff walked down memory lane when they attended Saturday's (June 20) 40th anniversary reunion dinner at the Capricornia College, on CQUniversity Rockhampton Campus.
Some travelled from interstate and many came from throughout Queensland.

Deborah Sibson (nee Nixon) remembers being a young girl straight from the country, when she first sighted her future husband walking past her dorm room at the Capricornia College, on CQUniversity Rockhampton Campus.
"I'd only arrived 2 hours earlier," she said.
