Final-year social work students were on campus last week for a residential school and to bury a time capsule.
The students recorded video messages for the next cohort of students and buried them in a garden bed in the courtyard of building 32.
- Reproductive technology paper feted in Rome, welcomed in Tampa

CQUniversity researcher Judith Applegarth's paper on 'assisted reproductive technology nursing' has been awarded at a Rome meeting and earmarked for a conference in Tampa, Florida.
The paper which positions Australian research in the global context won the 'Exchange Award for Nurses' category at the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE) annual meeting in Rome from June 27-30.

A select group of students from CQUniversity Brisbane met with community groups and corporate partners recently as part of the campus' 8th Community and Corporate Engagement Program (CCEP).
The five-star function was held in the River Rooms of the luxurious Stamford Plaza, and proved to be a successful event on many levels.

The recently established University Grounds Advisory Panel is assisting the newly appointed Division of Facilities Management project officer Leigh Portch in renewing the Rockhampton campus landscape.
The Panel - consisting of representatives from staff and students and an outside expert - is looking at re-introducing the 'Garden Walk' which was very popular 20 years ago.

Three CQUniversity staff have been selected to receive 2010 Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning by the Australian Learning & Teaching Council (ALTC): Judith Brown, Helen Holden and Professor Robert Reed.
