CQU Melbourne International Campus students have voiced their suggestions for the 2008 social events calendar through a competition organised by Client Services and TECC (Training, Employment and Career Coaching).
The University wanted to increase student involvement on campus and sought student input into the organisation of activities for 2008.

CQU Gladstone Head of Campus Pierre Viljoen has been appointed to the Gladstone Regional Community Visioning Project committee, which had its first meeting in December.
According to The Gladstone Observer, the visioning committee will lead the project to enable community members to express views on how the Gladstone region should develop over the next 20 years.

CQU nursing graduates were the most highly sought after in the Wide Bay Health Service District's recent nurse recruitment campaign.
The health service has employed 13 CQU nursing graduates to fill more than half of the 20 positions that were offered.
