Bushland near the southern annexe buildings of CQUniversity Rockhampton was ablaze on Tuesday this week.
Security personnel instructed staff members to remove their cars from the southern carpark when the fire broke out behind Super AMart.

Participants and their teachers and supporters are coming from as far as Tannum Sands in the south, Barcaldine in the west and The Caves in the north.
