An adventurous group of CQUniversity Sydney students recently climbed aboard a bus in Kent Street, bound for the southern NSW snowfields. On board were university staff members and some 25 students from countries such as India, China, Korea and Iran.

Around 60 science teachers converged on CQUniversity Rockhampton this week (July 12) to refresh their knowledge of diverse topics ranging from soil health, plant disease and biodiesels to green coal, reptiles and quantum computing.
Presenters from CQUniversity, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, Stanwell, Glenmore High and Rockhampton Regional Council helped with the annual District Science Teachers Forum.

Two Bundaberg students recently spent a week under the wing of CQUniversity's Head of Aviation Ron Bishop.
Emma Cherry and Jonathan Ward, Bundaberg Christian College students, took part in a work experience program with Mr Bishop, learning about the aviation industry and flight training in Bundaberg.
