CQU's Bachelor of Learning Management students will host Romp in the Park 2008 to celebrate Under Eights Week on Friday May 30 at the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens from 9am to 1pm.
Romp in the Park is one of the most popular events on Rockhampton's calendar and offers a variety of fun, educational activities, live entertainment and a large range of information services focusing on young children and families.

Over the past 8 days, the Centre for Plant and Water Science (CPWS) has hosted 2 groups of visitors, firstly Vermicrobe International Pty Ltd - a New South Wales company specialising in the commercial production of earthworms; and secondly Seair Diffusion Systems Inc. - a Canadian company that has developed equipment for diffusion of gases into liquids.

Almost 20 members of the Hinkler Lions group recently gathered at CQU Bundaberg's new state-of-the-art academic and research facilities for an informative presentation and tour.
Faculty of Sciences, Engineering & Health staff members Helen Afflick and Liz Tanner spoke about the construction of the facilities, including scientific laboratory and research spaces, a sound studio and multimedia area.

Recent CQU graduates Tamara Anderson and Tony Doak are the creative forces behind a new production in Rockhampton - One Act Nights.
The pair are the faces of 'Rocky Road tours in association with Encompass Art Productions', which is presenting the series of One Act plays at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre, from 6.
