Central Queensland University is incorporating more Work Integrated Learning (WIL), in its bachelor degree programs than ever before, demonstrating its commitment to producing work-ready graduates.
Including this work experience, which could be paid or unpaid, in the University's programs enables students to learn more for, and about, their intended careers in a more ‘hands-on' way.

Diwali celebrations at CQU Gold Coast International Campus saw the auditorium transformed with hundreds of candles, incense, sparklers and Bollywood film clips on the big screen.
This wonderful ambience set the mood for plenty of Indian-style dancing including the "How low can you go?" limbo competition.

Over 400 Central Queensland University students and graduates joined the CQU Golden Key Chapter for the 2007 Induction recently.
Over 50 students attended the New Member Ceremony on Rockhampton Campus, one student traveling from as far as Sydney for the event.

The CDFVR is based at CQU Mackay.

A Central Queensland University academic's in-depth research analysis of how some Australian family law court judges ordered children to have contact with their violent fathers was presented to audiences in a state-wide, video-link broadcast last week.
The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research hosted Dr Amanda Shea Hart's presentation at CQU Mackay.

Rochampton and district residents are being challenged to once again raise more than a quarter of a million dollars in the annual Relay for Life for 2008.
Next year's Relay, a major fundraiser for Cancer Council Queensland was launched this week (Thursday, November 15) with a display at City Centre Plaza (outside Target).
