- Kahawa comes to CQU Fiji International Campus

Connoisseurs of coffee and lovers of fine foods have sounded a collective cry of joy at the latest addition to the CQU Fiji International Campus.
Established by director Rosemary Mitchell a little over two and a half years ago, 'Kahawa', Swahili for coffee, has become an institution in the Suva cafi scene.

The Telstra Countrywide Blues Brothers Revival Show cruised around Central Queensland during Orientation Week, with some cross-campus cooperation helping along the way.

Highlighting Central Queensland University's motto "Doctrina Perpetua" or "Forever Learning" in his speech to graduates at CQU Sydney International Campus' graduation ceremony, held in December 2001, was renowned television personality Mr Silvio Rivier . Mr Rivier (guest speaker at the ceremony) started working with SBS Television as a subtitler when the network first went to air in 1980.
