Central Queensland University will provide the “best of both worlds” at the 8th Annual Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand Conference which will be staged at the Mercure Inn in Rockhampton from 28 to 30 November.
Conference director Dr Geoff Dickson from CQU's School of Health and Human Performance said this year’s theme of the SMAANZ Conference, ‘best of both worlds’, has been inspired by the combination of sport and management.

There wasn’t a Versace in sight at the CQU Mackay Melbourne Cup Day celebrations as the staff chose to take part in a ‘Worst Fashion in the Fields’ competition.
The inaugural event attracted quite a few glamorous entrants, with staff wearing mismatched tops and bottoms, stripy socks through to white socks teamed with sandals.
