CQUniversity this week hosted and sponsored a free seminar aimed at helping manufacturers and value-adding service providers to become involved in major projects in Central Queensland.
The Rockhampton Regional Development Limited event (Feb 23) explained how the Industry Capability Network (ICN) can link suppliers and major projects.

It will be a dream come true for mother of 4 Suzanne Anstey when she becomes a university graduate alongside her eldest daughter Grace tonight in Rockhampton.
After 26 years out of the classroom Suzanne was initially apprehensive about pursuing a university degree, but after completing CQUniversity's preparatory program STEPS (Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies) back in 2000 she gained new confidence in herself and enrolled to study a Bachelor of Psychology part-time.

As a performer, Ms Fox has a wide breadth of experience. In addition to several dozen solo and collaborative recitals performed with the standard repertoire in the past decade, she was previously the keyboardist for "The Fabulous Bel-Airs," and several other jazz and rock bands.
- 'Fed Up' author due to address food intolerances

All interested people are welcome at a FREE Rockhampton presentation by renowned author Sue Dengate, whose books on food intolerances have been released worldwide.
Hosted by the Institute for Health and Social Science Research at CQUniversity's large lecture theatre (Bldg 32), Sue will speak about 'The effects of foods on children's behaviour', from 3pm-5pm on Saturday March 21.

New science students Taylor Stritzke and Isaac Burke consider the recent reduction in HECS as a boon, but not the deciding factor in their career choice.
Both Taylor, from Rockhampton High, and Isaac, from Rockhampton Grammar, started their undergraduate degrees together at CQUniversity Rockhampton this week.
