Author and essay-writing expert, Bronwyn Hall has thrown her life into a van to travel across Australia and offer support to students and staff along the way.
Bronwyn this week (July 23) visited CQUniversity Rockhampton to run a free essay-writing workshop, in partnership with the University's Communications and Learning Centre and the CQUniversity Bookshop.

CQUniversity graduate Maia Keerie feels "just like a princess", since being crowned as the Queensland RSL Girl in a Million Quest winner on the weekend.
The former Bachelor of Performing Arts student will get to play her new role for a whole year as she now becomes an ambassador for the 50th anniversary (2009) quest.

CQUniversity's Dr Karena Burke will present a free talk about the effects of food additives and food intolerances on health and behaviour, from 6pm-7pm at the Ginger Mule Tapas Bar (William St, Rockhampton) on Thursday July 31.
The postdoctoral research fellow will present the informal discussion-based session as part of the University's Healthy Communities ‘Research Unplugged' sessions.

Mackay-based Lorne Thurgar is looking forward to progressing in the new Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (Executive Leadership), expecting it will draw together his previous career training and life experiences to produce his first formal qualification.
Lorne left school in Year 10 to enter the Navy and later spent 17 years in the Federal Police.
