Around 70 Kepnock High Year 10s converged on CQUniversity Bundaberg for a 'Uni Experience' recently (May 25-26).
The students participated in many activities, including nursing, science, accounting and aviation.

Schools are encouraged to register interest early for the Girls in the MIST and Boys in the MIST events scheduled for CQUniversity Bundaberg on October 27-28.
MIST stands for Mathematics, Science, ICT and Technology (design) and there are only 200 spots available each day.

Four Education students from CQUniversity Bundaberg created a project called ‘Classroom Management for the Contemporary Consumer' last year.
It was adapted from the ‘Childwise' program, which is targeted at parents raising moral and virtuous children.

Congratulations to IT analyst Troy Simpson and video producer Peter Lawrence, both staff members at Rockhampton Campus, who have placed in the latest Sister City Snapshots Photograph Competition.
Troy gained first place for Helen Celebrating Christmas Holidays and a Successful Return to Shore with Uncle Mick while Peter gained third in the competition with an entry titled Annie.

Around 15 North Rockhampton High School Year 10s came to the end of their 5-week CQUniversity Experience program at Rockhampton Campus this week.
They have been attending sessions across a range of disciplines every Monday for the duration of the program.

Around 100 music fans turned out for 'Jazz at the Riverside', presented by CQUniversity and ABC Radio Capricornia in Rockhampton, on Sunday May 30.
Boats bobbed on the water as students, staff and community musicians gave a two-hour concert of classic tunes.
