- Researchers warming to 'thermal' camera

A new $80,000 thermal imaging camera will contribute to a cross-section of research currently underway at CQUniversity.
The camera - a high quality unit with good optics and thermal resolution - will be used in a variety of research endeavours in health, exercise physiology, engineering, plant science and environmental sciences.

The University is delighted to launch access to electronic research databases for its graduates, free of charge.
After one year of coordination between the Library, Information Technology and the Office of Development and Graduate Relations, our alumni can access the following databases:
- EBSCO Megafile
- Informit (Australian content)
- ScienceDirect
Graduates will need to seek approval to access the databases, with a confirmation email sent upon authorisation.
- Community stalwarts honoured as graduates celebrate

Three community stalwarts were honoured during last week's Rockhampton graduation ceremony.
Honorary degrees were conferred on a long-serving priest, diocesan manager and educator, Ken Raff; a major contributor to the energy, health and education sectors, Rollan (Rol) Oxenham; and the late Jennifer Simpson, an inspirational educator.
