A total of 301 graduates have registered to attend CQU's first evening graduation ceremony in Rockhampton, from 6.30pm on Monday, March 12 at the Baptist Tabernacle in Norman Road.

Restoration of the stonework facade of Rockhampton's Heritage Post Office, now owned by CQU, is expected to start by July this year.

CQU Faculty of Business and Informatics students who attended O Week activities had the opportunity to bid for some great prizes at last week's Funny Money Auction.

CQU Bachelor of Environmental Science students recently heard presentations by representatives of the Capricorn Conservation Council (CCC), at Rockhampton Campus with video links to other campuses.

Alumni from around Sydney came together for Central Queensland University's inaugural Alumni event recently.
The evening got underway with Vice-Chancellor Professor John Rickard welcoming all guests including alumni and new graduates to the CQU alumni network.

Central Queensland University's first-year Emerald students attended Orientation on Wednesday, February 28, to get to know the campus and its staff before classes started on the March 5.
Students studying the STEPS program, and those starting a Bachelor of Business/Accounting and a Bachelor of Learning Management attended the orientation day.
